Cloch has submitted our Annual Assurance Statement to the Scottish Housing Regulator for 2021. This is the first time Cloch has been in a position to do this as an independent Association, and the Board worked through considerable evidence and self-assessment information to gain assurance that we comply with regulatory requirements and the relevant Standards of Governance and Financial Management that apply to Housing Associations.
Board Members worked with officers to go through in detail all of the evidence and relevant regulatory items, and the Assurance Statement was formally approved by the Board on 12th October 2021. There are a number of improvement actions which we will work towards implementing but no material items of non-compliance were found, and a clean bill of health has been supported by external audits and reviews.
