Board Members and Staff
Cloch Housing Association is run by a voluntary Board made up of customers and local professional people interested in the work that we do. They oversee the running of the business through regular Board and Sub-Committee meetings. We currently have 10 Board Members. This means we have two vacancies on the Board and we are currently actively recruiting for new Board Members. 12 is the maximum number allowed under the Association's Rules.
The Board are chosen from our membership at our AGM each year and we can coopt Board members during the year. She will talk you through what it means to be a Board Member and explain how to apply for a position. We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone with a finance or social media background or anyone who is a customer of the Association
In order to join the Board, you must be a member of the Association. You can become a lifetime member of the Association for £1. Download our two-page Application Form or contact a member of staff if you would like to discuss further.
Our Staff are employed by Cloch to run the business, day to day. We currently have 32 staff including 3 Modern Apprentices. They report to the Board and ensure that the tenants, owners, applicants and other service users receive the care and service set out by the Board. Our staff is our main resource in providing an excellent quality service to our customers and we endeavour at all stages to support and development to ensure they have the skills and expertise to provide an excellent service.
The Association believes in a growth mindset attitude to staff, where we are looking to assist them to learn at every opportunity and to take personal responsibility in their own career and personal skills development.
