Cloch are looking for local Contractors

Local Contractor Opportunities

Cloch Housing Association are looking to work with local contractors in general trades such as joiners, plumbers, electricians, labourers, roofers, and plasterers as well as more specialist trades such as drainage and door entry technicians to assist in delivering the repairs service to their customers.

Cloch have a stock of over 1,400 homes across Inverclyde and are keen to promote an opportunity for local contractors who may be interested in the delivery of our repairs service. Paul McColgan the Head of Property commented “We want to make sure that we give opportunities to local contractors to work with Cloch. In the past we have had to look to use larger contractors for repairs work. However, this time we are changing how we buy our repairs service which means that it will be easier to make sure that local businesses are able to win work”.

As well as work in Inverclyde, Cloch also work closely with a number of Housing Associations across Renfrewshire, who are also looking for similar contractors for the same type of works meaning contractors could also secure other work.

A ‘meet the buyer event’ is planned for Thursday 16th February 2023 at 10:00am in the Beacon Arts Centre where interested contractors can meet staff from Cloch to discuss the work further and get help on how to go about the application process.

If any contractor is interested in this opportunity, or want more information or a general chat about this opportunity, you can call Cloch Housing Association on 01475 783637 and ask to speak with a member of the Property Services Team or drop an e-mail to office@clochhousing.org.uk
