Scope of Works

CCG (Scotland) Ltd is the main contractor for a new affordable housing development located at King's Glen, Greenock. Consisting of 57 homes and delivered on behalf of Cloch Housing Association, the project will be undertaken over a 65-week programme. The project commenced on the 25/11/2019.

CCG formally took up occupancy of the site in early-2020 and works to date have been in preparation of main construction works consisting of ground clearance accommodating for mainline drainage connections.

Following on from the completion of mainline drainage, a new site entrance will be established at Kilmacolm Road. The site team will then proceed with the additional drainage works to Kilmacolm Place in order to progress the completion of the development site's service and road infrastructure

As the development continues to be progressed, CCG will then begin with the building of foundations and the installation of ground floor slabs, a specialist foundation platform that will allow for the installation and erection of the superstructure of each housing block. Once the slabs are in place, in accommodating for the construction of the homes, scaffolding will be erected followed by the installation of a crane. Community membersvshould expect to see the first homes coming out of the ground in the early spring period.
