Reflection On Our Big Bike Bash

We are delighted that the Big Bike Bash on 1st April was no April’s Fool.

Over 24 households came along and over 30 refurbished bikes for children and adults were handed out.

Liz Bowden and David Quinn were at the event to help, along with the team from Community Tracks Inverclyde.  It was so successful, Cloch and Community Tracks are keen to plan another Big Bike Bash in early summer.

Liz Bowden commented, “it is great to see Cloch working with a local community group to benefit our tenants and promote a healthy activity.  We were surprised at how many adult bikes we gave away and we will see if we can provide more at any future event.”
