Update to Annual Gas Servicing
At the start of the lockdown period, we advised our customers that our annual gas servicing programme was suspended until further notice.
Our contractor, GasSure have advised that a limited-service will be recommencing from Monday 20th April 2020.
It is a legal requirement for your boiler to be serviced once every 12 months to ensure your boiler and heating system is safe.
If your service is due a member of Cloch will contact you to ask if anyone if your home is either self-isolating or is part of the shielding program, and ask if it is safe for the contractor to come to your home and carry out the service.
If you or any member of your family are self-isolating we will not come to your home at this time and we will rearrange for a later date.
GasSure will also call you to make a suitable time for the service to be carried out, and will also confirm whether or not it is safe for them to come to your home and that you are happy for them to do so based on your status under shielding or social isolating.
The operatives who will come to your home have completed the necessary Risk Assessments and have the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to ensure that both the household and the operative is safe during the time they are in the home carrying out the service, which will be approximately one hour.
