A Holly Jolly Carol Concert at Elliot Court

Some of the residents at Elliott Court, Cloch’s Sheltered Housing Complex enjoyed their annual Christmas carol concert yesterday, Wednesday 18th December.

Our very own Community Health & Wellbeing Officer, Patricia Broom was our festive organist and very hard taskmaster 😉, making sure we all kept in time and sang our hearts out.

Alana Durnin, Cloch’s Chief Executive Officer attended, along with Elliott Court’s new Housing Officer, Anne Jamieson,
Housing Managers, Laura Young & Nicola Findlay, and Housing Administration Trainee, Natascha Miller.

It was great to see the common room of Elliott Court so beautifully decorated for Christmas, with amazing decorations displayed throughout, brought together by warden, Michelle Bell, who also helped residents prepare lunch and nibbles for the afternoon.

The residents commented that they really enjoyed singing most of the traditional carols, along with some Christmas songs, and finished up with a very merry version of ‘Jingle Bells’!  Alana, our CEO said that it was ‘a great event with 10/10 awarded for everyone and wonderful to see such great Christmas spirit.’

The residents have already booked in a date for their Summer Sing-a-long in June 2025, time to get practicing!
