Under the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998, as your Landlord, and to ensure your safety, we have a legislative duty to make sure that our gas contractor visits your home to carry out a gas safety inspection to your boiler no later than 12 months from the previous visit.

In order to comply with these regulations we will commence the process to carry out this inspection approximately 2 months prior to the anniversary date of the previous inspection. Where our contractor is unable to obtain access as previously notified then tenants will receive reminders requesting access. In the unlikely event that we are unable to arrange to have this inspection completed prior to the anniversary date, we may take action to obtain access to your home to carry out the safety inspection, or if the meter is situated outside your home we may cap the gas supply. This action is required to ensure that Cloch comply with this legislative duty.

In conjunction with our rechargeable repairs policy, the tenant will be liable for any costs related to either obtaining access or re-connecting the gas supply.
