Cloch is proud to have been part of World Mental Health Day 2024. World Mental Health Day is an annual awareness day observed every 10th October. It’s the World’s Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) initiative with the objectives to raise awareness of mental health matters around the world, to mobilize efforts in support of mental health, and to reduce stigma. Every year WFMH publish a theme which is voted for by stakeholders of the founding organisation.
The theme for World Mental Health Day 2024 is “It is time to prioritise mental health in the workplace“.
As part of raising awareness, our Community Health & Wellbeing Officer, Patricia Broom led two guided meditation sessions for staff, to show the importance of taking time out and to recognise the importance of our own mental health. A mentally healthy workplace is a thriving workplace. Cloch looks forward to working together to combatting poor mental health and to fostering environments where everyone can flourish.
Many thanks to staff who participated across both sessions and were well rewarded with a squishy ball for those stressful times! We are looking to set up fortnightly meditation sessions for staff to assist in looking after their mental health.
