Cloch Housing Association was delighted to welcome tenants and their families to a fun-filled Halloween Event and Tenant Information Forum at Broomhill Community Hub on 27 October.
The event brought together tenants of all ages for an evening packed with entertainment, community spirit and plenty of Halloween excitement. From impressive costumes and spooky decorations to dancing, games, competitions and prizes, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Free refreshments were available throughout the evening, while face painting and a talented balloon artist proved particularly popular, creating a range of imaginative and delightfully eerie balloon designs.
While the event was a celebration of community, it also provided an important opportunity to connect tenants with local organisations offering valuable support ahead of the winter months.
With rising living costs and increasing energy prices continuing to impact households, Cloch Housing Association invited a range of partner organisations to share advice, practical guidance and information on the support available. Representatives from Financial Fitness, Carers Gateway, Broomhill Community Hub, The Trust, Local Energy Advisors, Clyde Care and Youth Connections were on hand throughout the evening to speak with tenants and answer questions.
The information and advice provided were warmly received, with many attendees taking away useful tips and signposting to services that could make a real difference over the colder months.
Cloch Housing Association would like to extend its sincere thanks to all the partner organisations who attended and helped make the event such a success. Their expertise, knowledge and commitment to supporting our communities were greatly appreciated.
Events like these highlight the importance of bringing people together, not only to have fun and celebrate, but also to ensure tenants can access the information and support they need. We look forward to hosting more community events in the future and continuing to strengthen connections within our neighbourhoods.
